Wow! The first month of 2015 is already over! I had a goal of completing one art journal page per week this year but realized that's just not going to happen.
With the birth of my 4th grandchild last month, I have been busy knitting and I'm not done with those projects. I also started a new mini album to work on throughout the year using Graphic 45's Place In Time collection.

New Year - New Blog
I've decided to start a new blog for 2015. A place where I can share my craft projects and maybe some inspiration for others.
I love scrapbooking! With 5 children and 4 grandchildren there is always something to scrap. If you're like me, you have a project list a mile long that you may never actually finish. It's the journey though right?! One project for this year is to scrap something and journal every month just for me in my new Place in Time mini I'm creating.
Something new for me this year is art journaling. I've been watching lots of YouTube videos and they have inspired me to give it a try. My goal for 2015 is to complete one art journal page per week this year. I plan on using a quote to get the pages jump started. My quote for January's week one page is by Albert Einstein, "If you want to live a happy life, tie it to a goal, not people or objects." I thought this was fitting for the first week of January - what with New Years resolutions and all.
Last year I learned to knit. I crocheted as a kid so knitting is just a natural progression I think. I've completed a couple blankets, a shawl and a couple scarves so far. Lots more projects planned. My goal with knitting is to knit every day even if it's just a couple rows.
